Another power cutout

Another power cutout within a week. A car hit the power box and Epcor have no idea how long it will take to get it fix. I have no idea how to edit without electricity. I guess I can only pray right now and hope it will back up soon. Otherwise ... I am afraid I will have another sleepness night : /

Henrieke + Rinus

Please click the photo to start the slide show

Its all about referrals in the wedding business. I met Henrieke back to 2007 when I did her bride maid Suzanne's wedding. Henrieke was one of Suzanne 's bride maid. The first impression that Henrieke gave me was she's very quiet. On the other hand... Rinus.. lol! He's a little bit aggressive as you might noticed from their engagment photo shoot : )
And next year, I am doing her another friend Kim's wedding!!! Thank you very much for having me at your wedding and I will never forget the fun we had together : )

You might remember the colorful engagement photos from Ashley and Ben we did last year. And they also have their wedding on one of the hottest day in Edmonton.
It was so hot to a point that all the groomsman and bridesmaid have to jump in the water pool! But Ashley and Ben were so patient and try very hard to stay "Cool" and the result; lots of beautiful photos! Thanks again Ashley and Ben for sharing an amazing "Hot" day with me : )
Please join me and share their beautiful wedding slide show.

Still remember the meeting with Tanya and Noah, 50% of the conversation between me and Noah are about soccer : ) And ... 50% is about Tanya 's beautiful dress. I was expecting to see the "Wedding Dress Of The Year" and Tanya did not let me down. She has one of the best wedding dress I ever seen in my life! We didn't have that much photo time but I managed to get some really awesome photos of her beautiful dress. Please join me and share Tanya and Noah 's wedding story.

Jen + Dave Wedding

Please click the photo to start the slideshow

When I posted a few of Jen and Dave 's pictures on face book (Edmonton Foto Lovers). I knew that I did a pretty good job for their wedding lol. Lots and lots of emails and questions from friends and photographers asking me like "How do you make the sky so blue?" "How to make them so relaxing in front of you?" Ok, I didnt really "paint" the sky or a lot of touch up. It was a nice and sunny day and all I have to do is to capture the moment at the right time. Jen and Dave are so in love that they dont really noticed me around : ) or I hided myself pretty good...
I would like to thank Jen and Dave for having me there to share a wonderful wedding with them. Please join me to share their amazing wedding!

Thank Nicola and Chris : )

"Hi Sam,

First off, thank you very much for dropping off the picture disk to my
house on Friday, that was very much appreciated.

Second, the pictures look amazing! It was definitely worth the wait!
Everyone that has seen the pictures and slideshow have been very
impressed! The time and effort you put into the photos really shows!

Chris and I can't wait to work with you again on our wedding day!

Thanks again,

Nicola"

Thanks Lindsay and Nick = )

Sam! Thank you SO much!!!

It's unusual for a photographer to steal the show at a wedding, but that's exactly what happened at ours. For weeks after we got married, our guests were telling us "Very nice wedding - your photographer was AWESOME". It's hard to upstage lasers during a wedding ceremony, horse drawn carriages and a bicycle procession echoing with bells, but somehow you managed!

Our wedding really showcased your wide range of talents. Our minimalist, 20-guest, April 12 'pre-wedding' ceremony was held in a hospital chapel followed by diner at mom's house. It wasn't exactly overflowing with photo opportunities, but you captured dozens of moments that brought tears to our eyes. Our big exciting June 6 wedding presented lots of logistical challenges, including the absence of lighting during the ceremony and rain for the majority of the day. Your personal approach to photography was key in capturing the spirit of our event.

Keep up the good work. You are truly an artist!

Sincerely,

Lindsay Hunt and Nick Jendzjowsky
